Kittens

TL:DR version- there are cats which need re-homing. They are adorable and it nearly makes me cry every time I see them. If anyone would like a cat or kitten, now is a good time to say so.

My biggest single tenant has gone into administration. This is not good. The tenant ran a composting operation, taking in household waste. Not surprisingly, this operation attracted a number of animals, including some local feral cats. People who worked at the plant fed these cats and they also scavenged through the material being brought in.

Now the workers have been laid off and there is no new material being brought to site. Two adult cats there are very tame and have three kittens, which are at the age where they are balls of big-eyed fluff and run over every time they see a human in hopes of food and attention. The mother is black, as are two of the kittens. The third is sort-of black, but with a tinge of red.

At present I have no plan. Possibly taking them to a local animal shelter, but I dislike doing this, as I'm not sure if this might lead to their being put down if they can't be homed. Suggestions welcome.

EDIT: I am trying the obvious re-homing charities. At present they appear very full and are suggesting a month or more before they would be able to help.
