Still in a Celtic mood
The pageant is over! Now to focus on end of term grades, finishing up the yearbook, preparing for guests next Thursday night, leaving for OmegaCon next Friday morning...
Now, to show you one of the reasons why I want to go to Scotland/Ireland. If they grow'em like this over there, I may not come back...
The group is called Celtic Thunder. Caught the concert on PBS the other night and was blown away. The first video is just under 10 minutes, but it's worth the time to watch the whole thing. At the very least, watch the first 3 minutes or so, so that you can get a good sampling of Damian, the 14-yr old with an unbelievable voice. And the blond - oh man, if only I was 10 years younger, then I wouldn't feel so bad about drooling over him. The others are also amazing - in fact, I'd be hard pressed to pick a favorite. Each one's voice is unique.

The sound on youtube doesn't do them justice. The music is incredible, the singing is awesome. They're going to be touring the US this year but the closest they'll get to me is Atlanta, GA, in November :sobs: (Although, if my plans to attend KCon fall through, this would be an excellent consolation prize.)
