Feeling better today
So it's not the flu. I woke up this morning feeling much better, well enough that I could've gone in to school. But since there was already a sub scheduled, I decided to enjoy another day off. Good thing I did, cause the stomach ran off all day. And this afternoon, I've been running a very slight temp of 99. Other than that, though, I've felt really good. So I'm back to work tomorrow, rejoicing in the fact that there's only 8 1/2 weeks of school left.
Course, I'm teaching summer school, so I don't really get a summer vacation, but that's another story. Need the money. 'Nuff said.
American Idol comes on tonight. I'm just not looking forward to it this year like I have the three. Gina is my favorite girl, cause I love her individuality and her rocker style, but I know she's not the best and she won't win. Of the other girls, I don't really have a favorite. I don't really have a favorite guy to root for this year. Chris, Brandon, and Blake are the ones I think are the best, but no one has really blown me away like Chris Daughtry did last season and Bo Bice did the season before.
Bones comes back on tomorrow night. Looking forward to that. More eye-candy in the form of David Boreanaz :G: Oh, and it's a good show, too :)
I've been inspired by dracschic to post my book inventory online for others to see. Actually, I've wanted to do that for some time, I just never got inspired enough to make the effort. So I've been working on making queries and reports, and soon I'll have the reports ready to post on my website. They will be static reports, so whenever I add books to my inventory database, I'll have to udate the report and upload the new report to my site. But that's all I'm able to do right now. I don't have the time - or the inclination, really - to do the research to figure out how to link a database to a webpage to allow dynamic querying. Maybe one day, just not right now. Although, if someone were to send me step-by-step instructions... :)
Did a little modifying to the werewolf story today (yay!). lycanthrophile will be glad to hear it :G: Now I'm off to try and do a little more writing while my supper (chicken soup) cooks.
