Through the twigs and brush, over the
creek, face flushed. I head on t'ward the
end of it all. My hand is cut, and blood pours.
Darkness wraps me up, no light, no
more. I launch on through, totally
blind. The world passes by, at the
blink of an eye. Your face breaks the
shade, and starts to fade. I scream your
name inside the dark. And hold you
deep inside my heart. It wont be
long, before I right, all this wrong
I cannot see, nor breathe.
Or can start to perceive,
the time gone by. I stand
in the rain, blade in hand.
I continue to go,
deep into the unknown.
Our sweet world at my back,
in my hands this great task.
I am coming for you,
and that, my dear, is true.
