Finally, back from a field...
So, home today from the Gathering... It was a great event, followed by spending several days both taking down the site and set, and coming down from the weekend high.
I can't quite believe that the main event season is already over. I know there's still the parliament in October, and I'm looking forward to that already, but where has the year gone? And how did the Gathering get over so quickly?
I'm trying really hard to remember all the things I was thinking I wanted to do over the last few days - lots and lots of ideas came rolling along post-event (as usual).
But mostly?
I want to make sure I stay in touch with lots of people.
It's something I've been awful at in the past, but despite the cost of petrol, the various distances and directions, the lack of contact emails & numbers... I really want to see more of people this year!
Here's hoping for sociability!
