Phone update
For those interested, I went to the phone store and got a replacement. At first the guys at AT&T didn't want to wave the two remaining weeks until my free upgrade. But with my typical charm, I mentioned that I could always just go to Verizon since my contract was almost up. What do you know... upgrade fee waived. Then once they saw I was willing to spend a little money, they turned into Larry Miller from Pretty Woman.
In the end I took the advice of several friends and got an iPhone 3GS. So far I have to say that I am pleased. I took the extended Apple Care contract since it included all of the accessories that I was going to buy anyway. I just need to get used to typing on it. I managed to get my iglou and aol e-mail accounts to link up properly but I can't quite get my work e-mail to function. I'll need to contact support on Monday.
