How about a nice cup of tea

You can't imagine the amount of unadulterated bullshit that I've read today about the nut jobs that attended the tea parties yesterday in protest of government spending. And I do mean bullshit. Some of the very same people who were saying that dissent is patriotic when it was George W. Bush's policies being protested against are the ones who are saying that it is "dangerous" to protest against the current administration's policies. Well they were right then and they are wrong now. This country was founded by "the people" who went out and protested against the government. I have not and will not agree with every protest out there, but damn it they have the right to protest and the only "dangerous" people out there are the ones who want to limit free speech when they don't agree with it. So even if you don't agree with a protester (no matter what they are protesting) the very least you can do is feel proud that you live in a country where a person can freely express their opinion. And maybe, just maybe stop calling them nut jobs? Because the day may come when you want to protest something. And does that make you a nut job or a patriot?
