How rocks in my kidneys ended up in my shoes.

I've suffered from kidney stones all of my adult life. I pass them from time to time. A couple of years ago I stopped passing them and they have been growing in size inside my kidneys. Last summer, I had a stone the size of an aggie marble in my left kidney broken up using a procedure called lithotripsy. This comming summer I'll have a simular sized stone in my right kidney zapped as well.

Because of these kidney issues and my gastric bypass, I have a tendency to build up uric acid in my foot joints from time to time. In other words, I have gout. And my foot hurts to the point that I can't put weight on it.

So that's how the stones in my kidneys made pain in my shoes. Everything's connected.

Now I'll watch a little tv and take as strong of a pain killer as I can find. Ouch.
