awkward stranger
i just walked for 20 minutes down elmwood next to a stranger. he was a red head, but i was too nervous to look directly t him to at least see if i was having an awkward experience with an attractive person.
i happen to catch up with him while i was walking and figured i was walking faster, so i as cool with it... but i wasn't. he didn't speed up or slow down so we then commenced walking with each other for a while and i pretty much looked anywhere but at him.
i didn't want to cross the street for fear of him thinking"what, he doesn't wanna walk next to me?!" like i as too good.
i was afraid to slow down or speed up or do any anything that obviously communicated it was awkward and i didn't want to be next to him, so when i was passing a cafe i knew i practically flipped into the doors.
i am -so- awkward sometimes.
