Lobster teeth!
As has become the modus operendi, I am once again shamefully late on a life update. Though, upon actually getting around to it, I have to pause and wonder; who even cares? Regardless, here, at long last, in convenient list form, is my life update.
Things that are awesome:
Finally getting high-speed internet for my PC.
Actually being able to play RO on a regular basis
FINALLY getting a job! I work as a phone poller from 4-8 every night for 9 bucks an hour. It's repetative and boring and only part-time, but hey, it's a steady pay check, which is a step foreward, in my case.
Beefing up my PC. I got several RAM extensions, a 500GB external drive, and I'm gonna get a new graphics card soon, to bring my computer out of the dark ages that were the year 2000. There's only so much I can do with my PC as it stands, though. For example, the best graphics card in the world can't mask the fact that it's only running a 1.8Ghz processor. My ultimate goal is to buy or build a completely new PC, but that's gonna take slightly more time and money than I have right at the moment, so we'll see how that works out.
Things that are not awesome:
Fighting with my family over who gets to be on the internet next.
Playing RO when I should be doing more productive things.
Actually having to go to work. Like I said, it's a boring and repetative job, and there's only so many times you can be hung up on before you start taking it personally. Payday is bimonthly, the next one is on the 15th. I keep reciting this mantra to myself to keep me sane. Payday is the 15th. Payday is the 15th...
Parents being as mean and as nasty about getting a divorce as humanly possible. Especially after they both desided to make this as quick and painless as possible. Again, the sooner I can wash my hands of this situation, the better.
Well, I guess that pretty well covers it. And I will try to be more diligent about updating more often. Until next time, young space cadets!
