I listened to it yesterday coming home on the train - and I was grumpy and not in the mood to speak to anyone so I put this on and settled down to have a listen and cheer myself up. ... Probably not a good move. Within the first half hour I felt myself getting emotional.
I've only listened to the first half an hour of this, but I will be listening to the rest after I've watched Merlin because wow, wow. I'll give you more coherent feedback when I've got to the end but right now I'm just a weird mixture of ;____; and ♥____♥

I'm not feeling fantastic at the moment and listening to this cheered me up so much, which is probably weird because this is one of the most depressing fics ever, but your reading of it is utterly lovely. Your Spencer voice is sort of, idk how to describe it, it's sort of detached, sort of resigned, sort of a little bit quietly broken and it's so lovely to listen to even though it's kind of depressing and this idea of Spencer, of anyone, really, will never not break my heart. When you read him say they're not my friends, oh I just wanted to hug you. Him. Both of you, because he's the one feeling it but you sort of are too and that probably doesn't make any sense but yeah, I get weird with podfic because the emotions feel more real than in fic and all the lines get crossed in my head. Sometimes sad fic is exactly what I'm in the mood for when I'm upset. I found this Spencer one of the most compelling characters to read, but he also took a lot out of me emotionally. I felt so much for Spencer and this story, that's one of the reasons it has taken so long to get done, so I am really glad all my FEELINGS are coming across. There were definitely times while reading this fic that I could have done with that hug.
