Hey,
So in light of the fact that I have kept you all up to date thus far, I thought I would continue to do so. I went in to see the doctor again on Monday. I am now being sent to a gastric specialist (you know, someone who knows tummies andintestines well) to get two tests done. The first is a blood tissue test adn the other is a camera down my throat and into my small intestine. They are looking Celiac Disease, which is basically a wearing away at the intestinal wall caused by an allergy to gluten. If you don't know what gluten is, it is basically a substance found in a lot of wheat products like bread, pizza, beer, pasta, etc. This is a life long allergy but very treatable. I just can't eat gluten anymore. Its kind of annoying because it eliminates three of my favorite things, beer, pizza, and pasta (more specifically the Thai Chicken Pasta from the Cheesecake Factory). The biggest problem to worry about at this point though is that because these specialists are so hard to get in to, I can't get an appointment until January 10th. So, that will be the next time we know anything. Until then, I will stay away from things that could hurt and I'll be fine. If anything else happens you will all know. Thanks for the prayers and support. Much love to everyone.
