Good Weekend...
So this weekend was pretty cool...
Friday- No class so I slept in until 1... I went to practice a little late (it was supposed to be at 1), then got out at 330... Andrew and I went to the 99 and had lunch/dinner... After that I dropped him off at the dorm and went back to my house... I left my house and went to BSC at 6 where I met up with Red, Craig and Chris (all from the Frisbee team) and we went to the COHEED AND CAMBRIA CONCERT!!!!!! We also went with Eli, Tom, his girlfriend and some other kid... We got there a little after 7... We found a space and just stood there for a while...We watched the end of the first band which I think was Dredge... They were ok... Then came Me Without You who actually to my surpirse was pretty good... I kinda liked them... Then the Blood Brothers came out... But seriously they sucked... They were like screaming their heads off and like they were very very very flamboyant with the way they walked around and moved their arms... You could tell that both lead singers were gay (which later was confirmed by a fan of theirs)...
Finally Coheed came on... Once the first note was played Red and I started rushing to the front... We pushed and weaseled are way... We got stuck half way by the mass of bodies... We were shoulder to shoulder and you really could not move an inch... Next thing I know I was right next to Mike Donovan... It was pretty funny because we were both going insane... After a song or two I lost him and as we sent people crowd surfing I would follow the body and slide up a few people... Soon I found myself 3 rows back from Claudio... After about 4 songs I was dead center, and front row!!!!! I was so excited... There my favorite band was only a few feet from me... It was truly an amazing concert... After Red and I got some merch and met up with the rest of the guys... We fell asleep on the way home and got back about 130ish...
Saturday- Woke up at 830 because BSC was hosting a Disc Tournament... There was about 12 teams there... Dimas and Matt Duval were also there... BSC divided up into an A and a B team... I was on the B team which was mainly all freshman and sophomores which sucked... We got crushed in all our games... But we did give them a run for their money... it was fun because when we had a bye i got to hang out with Dimas, Duval and then Rahul and Ariel came... We through the disc and I impressed Rahul because I now have a solid forehand... We hung out for only 2 hours but it was a great 2 hours... I miss hanging out with the guys so much... After we threw around the worst thing happened... I cramped up... My legs just locked and I couldn't move too much... I had to sit out half of my last game... I left the fields about 330 and had dinner at my house... Then went to work until 1230...
Sunday- Day two of the tournament... I woke up and went to the tournament for 10... The B team had dismantled so we grabbed a few from the A team... I got to play the whole game which I played the whole game for all the B team games... It was an awesome game... We actually won!!! But since we grabbed people from the A team and that would have knocked CCSU from the tournament we dicided to write them in as a win... Because the B team dismantled... The undefeated A team played Umass which is ranked like number 1 in the country and we lost 14-12... Not bad if you asked me...
Right now I'm going to end this very short because I'm exhausted...
