So, the big geeky news today was that it was announced that Episode 7 takes place 30 years after Episode 6 and will start filming in May.

So, what part of this announcement comes as a surprise?
Even in my Star Wars brown-out I knew that May was the most likely start date of filming, and since I can do elementary math, I could have figured out the Episode time-frame myself: 2015-1983=32.
Is Lucasfilm PR taking applications, because it seems like a pretty easy job.
