A Dickensian Dark Knight Rises?

There's a theory going around that the plot of The Dark Knight Rises is inspired by A Tale of Two Cities more than any other outside influence. I don't know the Dickens classic as well as I should, but from the relatively small amount I know about DKR's overall plot, I think the idea is plausible.

If there is a character named John Huffam in the movie, then I know there's a relationship between the two.
