OOC: 20 things you didn't know...
Bored mun is bored (...no pun intended), so you get a twenty things you didn't know list. About Mai.
1) Mai has a baby brother named Tom Tom. She finds him incredibly annoying due to his habit of pulling/eating her hair when she holds him.
2) Her knife throwing skill is entirely self-taught.
3) Her mother and father wanted her to stay in her room while they hosted social events. Mai's aim comes from those long hours which she spent throwing pointy objects at her bedroom's ceiling and walls.
4) Mai believed in True Love when she was younger.
5) That belief also included a vision of the Prince Zuko gallantly riding an ostrich-horse in shining armor. She was nine, that's her excuse.
6) She's long since abadoned that idea. At least out loud.
7) Mai's favorite dessert are strawberry tarts.
8) Or were. Before Ramza turned a conversation about said tarts into a plot to kidnap Ty Lee.
9) Mai was always the "odd person out" of her very small group of friends (Azula and Ty Lee). Most of the other two's jokes and pranks were on her or at least the blame of them was.
10) Mai's first kiss was with an older servant when she was eight. He was thirteen and had decided that she, a daughter of a noble, was fairly pretty. She was rather confused at the time.
11) When she turned twelve, Mai repaid the favor. By throwing a rather large pebble at his head. He had a terrible headache for weeks afterwards.
12) Her favorite color is white, the Fire Nation color of mourning. She wears black since it's a more practical color, gets dirty less easily.
13) Mai was an avid reader when she was a young girl. She grew out of the habit when she realized the poems and things she was reading were all the same to her.
14) Even though she complains about being bored and having nothing to do, Mai is not lazy. It's a habit she picked up in early childhood, since her parents weren't as lenient as her friends'.
15) If she believed in gambling, Mai would be perfect as a poker player.
16) She is suspicious of anyone who's overly cheerful or acts overly naive. This is part of the reason she's angry at Giselle.
17) Cloud watching is a favorite passtime of hers.
