Random backstory post
Gundam Wing had some planned episodes that never made it to the show due to horrible planning, I believe. These episodes were character backstories and we instead included in one of the mangas.
Catherine's parents had her and a younger brother, Triton. One day, a bomb hit the train they were travelling on, sending Catherine and Triton flying. Her parents died and she believed her younger brother did, too. She was then raised by the circus.
However, it's strongly hinted at that Triton was not dead, but alive, and was raised by mercenaries and eventually became known as Trowa Barton. He has some burn scar to prove this. Naturally, Catherine and Trowa look nothing alike. At all.
Neither Catherine nor Trowa know of this, although Catherine's seen the burn scar and has speculated! It doesn't matter, because she considers herself to be his big sister no matter what.
