Daddy's Day
Today was pretty decent. I got to drive my dad around all day. I took him out for some lunch, my treat. And the people at the restaurant gave him a free dessert which made my dad happy. I then took him home so we could check up on my mom. She hasn't been feeling too well lately. And I then took them both out for dinner later. And treated them both to a movie. We saw The Lake House. It was ok. I thought it was a little boring though.
But I'd say that today was a success because for once on that mans life he didn't complain about someone. Everytime I am with him alone he has to complain about one family member or another. And today he didn't have one bad thing to say about any of them. I was proud of him. He didn't criticize me either so that was another major plus.
It's days like today that make me glad that he's my dad.
