a word of advice
Please discourage anyone you know from renting from United Apartments in the future. They have been a horrible organization to rent from. Here are some supporting reasons for why no one should rent from them:
A. They forced me (and all tenants of Concord) to move out 5 months early because they thought it would be more convenient for them to tear the building down in December rather than May.
B. They lied in explaining the Lease Modification that we were forced to sign. They said they would assist with moving any of our stuff. Turns out the movers were only allowed to move United Apartment owned items.
C. I returned to my old apartment to pick up a few last things to discover that the maintenance guys had come in, trashed everything, destroyed the walls, smashed the toilet, broken mirrors and glass ALL OVER, taken the refrigerator, and removed the deadbolt. It was clear who had done it because they put their names all over the walls. Upon my arrival I discovered that they had also taken a saw with the blades that I left in the apartment.
D. Upon complaining about them entering my apartment and my missing things United Apartments proceeded to DO NOTHING.
They are a horrible organization to rent from. They do not care about their tenants and are only concerned with making the most money.
PLEASE TELL YOUR FRIENDS!!! DO NOT RENT FROM UNITED APARTMENTS!!!!
