I think you should volunteer
This Saturday (October 29) I am organizing a sweet Halloween event for kids ages 12 and under. It's from 1-3 at Deerfield Park (volunteers are asked to be there at about noon). There will be pumpkin painting, bobbing for apples, a bean bag toss, refreshments and more. The main event will be a trick or treat hike where the kids walk one of the trails and "trick or treat" at different stations throughout the woods. It will be a great oppotunity for kids and their families to spend some time in the park in a "fright free" environment.
I am looking for volunteers, so if you are interested (or you know someone who is) please let me know AS SOON AS POSSIBLE! It will be a fun time...plus volunteers are asked to wear a costume. Just another excuse to dress up! Oh boy!
