Stolen from
smells_corrupt I know very little about some of the people on my friends list. Some people I know relatively well. But here's a thought: why not take this opportunity to tell me a little something about yourself. Any old thing at all. I am a stay at home mother of two with a pair of bachelors degrees in business management and information systems, neither of which I am using in my current incarnation as a Tupperware sales lady - an ironic career choice given that I mostly hate people. I love to read and write though I get to do so rarely these days. I have a five year old son and a two year old daughter, Jack and Madison, who are the lights of my life despite the fact that they are the reason I never get to read or write anymore. I have absurdly long hair because I vowed not to cut it until I lost the baby weight after my daughter was born and well...it's been more than two years. I also dress like a baglady for the same reason. I am hardheaded and stubborn about many things, contrary and argumentative about everything else. I am also obsessive to the point of absurdity and have unintentionally devoted like 2/3 of my mental capacity to song lyrics from the 80s.

I have been vowing to lose weight for ages. It fluctuates so much, depending on what I'm doing, but I hover stubbornly at a weight that I'm not comfortable saying out loud. I don't dress like a baglady (though, when I was a kid I had a costume collection that I used to haul around the neighborhood with me in a wagon. My mother thought I would grow up to be a bag lady. ;) ). I actually really love clothes, but I keep telling myself that I can't buy new ones until I lose some weight.
