Because I'm bored and this looked more interesting than some of the other memes floating around out there:

slaymesoftly Lots of pillows or just one?
In general, two, though more are always welcome. Pillow party in my BED! Bring your friends! ... man, that sounds like the opening to a porno, huh? In any case, the real problem here is that I don't sleep. I've had insomnia since I was just a wee pocket-knife. Pillows at least make the sleeplessness comfortable.
What kind of books do you read?
All of them. I read all the books. If it's readable and it's put in front of me, I will likely read it. Stuff that I particularly enjoy generally falls into the category of genre fiction: I get a little drooly over epic fantasy novels, some urban fantasy, and I buy those cheap cheesy pulp romance novels (usually historical for some reason) like they're made out of crack. Which they ARE. But I also read a lot of poetry, and some non-fiction, and every so often I'll go for horror. Also, erotica. Yeah, I know, you'd never have guessed that about me, right? ;)
What are your neighbors like?
The house to the left of ours has been unoccupied since we moved in two years ago. They've been slowly renovating it, and every so often we'd look out to see things like a chorus line of toilets along the curb, ready to go to the great porcelain bowl in the... er... junkyard. And I'm mixing my metaphors, so sue me.
The neighbors to our right are quiet. Sometimes I catch glimpses of them, but mostly I see their dog. He's a big, shaggy thing that likes to bark when I walk past with my dog. Other than that I don't know much about them, except that--in a town that is as obsessed with trees and letting nature run rampant--they have an extreme aversion to any sort of unruly plant life. Theirs is the only yard on the street that's not dominated by trees, the grass is cut within an inch of its life, and all the shrubs and flowers look like they don't DARE put a leaf out of line. If you were looking down on our street from above, their lawn would be the gap in a gap toothed grin.
The people who live across from us have this tiny little house (in Florida we call them cracker-houses, which is sort of racist, only against white-folk, which I am (white, not racist), so shut it you) and this lawn that is like Harry Potter's hair. You can try to trim it, but it springs right back overnight. They have the sweetest black lab/pit mix you've ever seen who, for some reason, is always wearing bandages on some part of her body. She's totally docile, well trained, and likes to follow behind her owner's heels whenever they're out in the yard. They also have this creepy little garden shed/shack that's buried among the vines and bushes, which I can see if I look out my window (well, if it weren't raining at the moment. Also, its dark). It's the perfect place to hide a body.
Yes, I know more about my neighbors pets than I know about my actual neighbors. This is because I'm a recluse.
Not really. I just like to pretend I am.
What's the best lesson you've ever learned?
How to tie my shoes. No, seriously, that's important shit right there.
Kidding. Uh... best lesson I ever learned was... uh... don't call people idiots to their faces? No. Uh... ... Oh! Yeah. Right. I learned not to take what other people say about me too much to heart, cause other people can be kinda dicks.
Tell 3 things you have in your point of view right now.
One of my two cats, my computer, and Disk Five of Season 4 of BtVS.
What's your current fandom/obsession/addiction?
Buffy. Seriously. At random points in my day my brain just thinks "Spike" and then I'm off in obsession land. Also, I'm kinda digging on the new Sherlock series from the BBC. (I have a cheekbone obsession.)
Do you prefer your junk food sweet, salty or savory?
In general I prefer salty to sweet and sweet to savory. Chocolate, however, trumps all.
What websites do you always visit when you go online?
Livejournal is my new obsession. deviantArt, cause its part of my job. Elysian Fields, cause I need stuff to read. Lately I'm on Cracked.com a lot, and TVTropes.org can suck me in like a big sucking thing.
What was the last thing you bought?
100 calorie packs of Milano cookies?
What is your favorite flower?
Cliche, I know, but I fucking love roses. Orangy red (not that nearly black red bullshit), or the yellow ones with the red tips to the petals. Also, thorns are a must have.
What is the most difficult thing you have ever done?
Trying to lose weight, on my own. I've struggled with it off and on for over a decade. Sometimes I do well, sometimes I don't. But I'm going to do it, this time. Just watch.
What was the last meal you ate?
I just made some utterly delish Kung Pao chicken and jasmine rice. Of course, because of that whole diet thing, I only got to eat a little of it. But it was still good.
Do you want to learn another language?
In theory it'd be neat, but I really don't have much use for it--so even if I learned it I'd probably forget it.
Five things you want right now:
Buffy's superpowers so I can kill the fly that's buzzing around my office with a thumb tack (cause that'd be awesome).
Uh... some kind of dessert that has no calories in it, so I can eat as much as I want (I'm ignoring you, celery, because you're not a dessert food)
My cat to stop being emo and hurting herself (she overgrooms to the point where she draws blood. It's gross and it means she has to wear a cone and take kitty xanex).
My husband to have a better job, that he likes, and that makes just a little more money than he's currently making.
A teleporter.
Find the closest book currently sitting near you and flip to page 36. What is the first sentence of the second paragraph?
"Here, a crumbling smokestack stretched up, melting into the fog."
What's something that someone said to you today that was amusing?
Friend: My coworker is an arsehole and I want to stab him with an icicle.
Me: You should do that; the evidence will melt. it's the perfect crime.
Friend: That's true. Nobody else likes him anyway.
What are you looking forward to?
January, when we start auditions for "The Foreigner"... I'm stage managing, which I haven't done in a while, but I'm very much excited about.
Do you prefer boxers/briefs/tighty whities on a guy?
None of the above. I like it when they go commando.
What is your favorite electronic accessory?
My computer and my iPhone. I can't live without one or the other. And, yes, I know that's a totally melodramatic and untrue statement.
