Lovely end to this chapter and the main story. Thank you for bringing in the watcher scene and changing what many of us were so frustrated about with the show - Buffy's lack of championing for herself and monetary compensation. This time she had her wonderful practical Spike to demand money! That was definitely a heart stopping moment when he got that arrow in the heart, I read that paragraph at least 3 times. Also, just love the dynamic between Buffy & Spike in the beginning of the chapter, just so cute, funny, & real. And it's about time Buffy figured out about Giles & Lydia!

I love the little glimpse we got into there every day lives, it was just lovely. I like how the Scobbies have pretty much accepted him chip or no chip. Great chapter.
