I have an OKCupid "date" tomorrow. I came across the most cynical, unmotivated, miserable person on the website (so basically my ex-boyfriend) and after messaging back and forth, we kind of hit it off. He’s probably the most interesting person I’ve spoken to on the website so far. We plan on playing a drinking game that goes along with A Goofy Movie where we drink every time Goofy laughs. LOL CAN’T WAIT.
The only issue I have with him is that he has pretty shitty taste in music. It doesn’t really matter all that much since it’s not like I’m going to date him or anything, but I gave him a list of my favorite post rock bands since he’s really into Godspeed You! Black Emperor, so hopefully I’m making a positive change in his life.
He has facial hair, that’s all that really matters.
I had my last day of Drawing on Thursday. Right before I left (I was the second to last person to leave) my Drawing professor was like, “I get you, Vanessa. The students don’t understand you, but I do.” And I didn't even know what to say. I thought it was pretty confusing / funny / IDK?
In case anyone is confused, most of the kids in my class kind of poked fun at me for being seemingly irritated all the time and I sort of, maybe, kind of freaked out on some kid in my class for not knowing who Andy Warhol was. I’m over it, whatever.
Recently, my friend Simone has been making the transition from vegetarian to vegan. She started a blog to document her ~journey~ and also to motivate other vegans (or aspiring vegans). She’s also going to include cool vegan recipes if any of you are interested. I am not a vegetarian / vegan, nor will I ever be, but I find her pretty interesting / funny so I’ll be reading along anyway.
