Because we can't make up for the time that we've lost, I must let these memories provide..
I just got back from Michigan with Rach and my dad. It was really fun. I miss everyone already, especially Brandon, Brit and Rachel #2 (haha, corny I know..) :\
On the trip, Brandon showed us this place that has to be by far the most beautiful place I've ever been to/seen. When we went, the sun was setting beautifully and it had just rained - not heavily - but enough to make a huge and very gorgeous rainbow in the sky on the opposite side of the sunset. Plus, the colorful sunrays on the really clear but yet deep blue lake water were so incredible and all the trees around. Man, if I lived near there, that would be my place and I'd be there all the freaking time, haha. We had an awesome plan to sneak there in the middle of the night and go skinny dipping in the moonlight...hahaha, but that never happened. Brando was a titch too tired..and Rach and I were fighting slightly, lol.
Anyway, after swimming and taking pics and saying our goodbyes and such there (at the spot) yesterday around one, we packed up and left. Then we stopped for food (and AWESOME cake!) and then shopped a little around Ludington and then boarded the ferry. (We def. took Dramamine pills and got the wristbands to prevent motion sickness! They helped me but not Ray) So, the ferry ride was about 4 hours...and there was this amazing guy, hahaha. I saw him like 30 times and yeah..um we talked...if you count him saying "hey, whats up" and me saying hey back slightly after I processed that he'd just talked to me, I'm so sad! He looked a bit familiar though..I think. haha
The 45 mins from Manitowoc home were just a nap for me and Ray. Then I came home and went to bed after dropping her off. I'm getting my pics developed tomorrow! :)
Yeah, soooo I leave for New York/Connecticut on Sunday for a few days short of a month so gimme a call to hang out before I go!!
