I spend a wonderful few hours this afternoon visiting my dear little godson and his big sister Maddie. Tag, airplane, slides, hide & seek, outfitting paper dolls, and feeding each other blueberries was the agenda for this particular afternoon. My little redhead, he will just burst out laughing like Maddie used to do alot. Whenever he laughs he squenches up his nose and it soooo cute (see above example). He's talking a good bit more, or trying at least because he pretty much really only can say dada and mama and nona (the kids' babysitter) and, of course, Nanah. He even tries to "count" when we play hide & seek which is hilarious. He is getting to be quite the little man. He will always be the #1 redheaded boy in my life.
Also, now I have to watch more carefully because now he likes to pick up and carry around Nanah's camera (est. value $400) and camera bag, probably because the last time I was over with my camera I let him hold it. It's as if he's bringing it to me because he thinks I might've left it on the table on accident. Sooo cute. And what a ham! Picking up some "bad" habits from his big sister. :D
Playing and laughing with those little ones was just what I needed. It has me looking forward to the MINI road trip that Britt and I are planning to New Roads on Sunday. Matthiew, Maddie, and DQ is going to make for a very happy Sunday and two happy Hebert sisters, I do believe.
