Have scrolled through the profiles of all extant fiftyfive friends and it looks like the vast majority haven't altered since those fine far flung oughties (as one ought). A few more recent missives though none post-dated 2017.
So there is some discrete charm of an empty echo chamber cum voidio-scream.
