(no subject)
Kinda overwhelmed the other day when i was on the phone with Brandon. He decided to inform me that he is returning to the service. Yes, Brandon with a kid...my godson, is going back to the marines. How am I feeling about this? Nervous.
I told him that I did not like this decision. The weird part was that he couldnt give me a reason why he was doing it. He said he doesnt 'like' the marines. He said he likes his job at the mortgage company. So why? Im nervous because now is all sorts of 'what ifs'. I gotta think positive because I know how tough he is and I know he will be fine.
I love my godson jaden, but if something were to happen...uh...i have a new son. Like ive said a million times, he would do the same for me. So I stand by my decision. I just hope and pray that he knows what he is doing with this decision.
Other than that...I had a blast last night downtown at Wall Street. I ended up meeting up with Bobby from work later that night and we shared some drinks. I kinda owed him a few because he was the manager on duty last night and let me go early to go downtown. So me, Bobby, Mike and Taryn met up with Kim and Nicole (kims best friend) and then Rymatt, Drew, Danny, and our thetas joined in the fun. You know...Whitney and Elizabeth. I took advantage of that night and I didnt have to be at work until 8am today. I figured I would be fine seeing as how the week before I made it to work right after going downtown. I thought I would be ok! Well, i got a little out of control last night. I rolled out of bed at 6:20 feeling like i was going to die. Called my boss James (the good boss who is my buddy) and begged him to let me off for the day. Yeaaa....that didnt happen. So i clocked into work at 7:52am and started slowly parking cars because if i ran, i knew i would puke. James let me leave and I clocked out at 8:45. I didnt even make it for one hour. Thank the lord.
Next week Chad is coming into town and we made plans to make it a crazy week. Im looking forward to it. Lots going on. Its time for dinner with Taryn now, so I gg.
