one night in the ER...
This was awhile ago but that night, I had to go see a patient in the ER. He was extremely hard of hearing so I had to yell very loud right next to his ear. So I yelled all of my gazillion questions. Going through the review of systems, I finally came to Genitalurinary section.
I yelled, 'do you have pain with urination?'
'Huh?'
'Does it hurt when you pee?' X2
'Hard of hearing? Yes, I am very hard of hearing!'
The whole ER personnel started laughing their heads off. An ER nurse came in and said he has heard and seen pretty much everything but that took the cake. I apparently made his and everyone else's night.
