I twanged my knee this weekend; nothing major, I just stood up, and apparently asked a percentage or two more of it than it had to give. No function impairment, just hurts like #*^@. Due to that and various other reasons that I'd rather not get into, it was not a high-energy morning. I told myself that I had to do the bare minimum of half an hour on the stationary bike, low and slow as necessary, and if that was all I acheived, so be it.
- stationary bike, 33min @ levels 9-12, max rpm upwards of 110. I have no idea where that came from, but when the bod wants to move, I know better than to argue with it.
- that thing where you twist the back with a stick across the shoulders, 10 reps each side
- seated hamstring, 5min @ 50#
- push-ups, 10 @ ~40°
- leg extension, 3min @ 35#
- lower back, 5min @ 125#
Wussy? Perhaps. But given that I was expecting to barely be able to keep the bike going 'round, I'd say it's pretty good.
