Despite the lack of posting here, I was a good girl on Friday and went to the Y. Bike, prone hamstring, hip ab/adductor, triceps, biceps, sit-ups (floor), lower back, all at respectable times/weights.
Went this morning too, and I should get a cookie for that, because the Y was only open 7-noon. Stayed up after feeding the cats at 6:00 am, and hauled myself on out. Had to settle for seated hamstring (5@55) today; the weight level was fine for prone hamstring, but the full extension position just kept getting more and more painful. Also stretched, did bench press (3x10@40+) and lower back (5@125-130). And then I went for a swim.
There is nothing like swimming to let you know you've been slacking on the quad press & hamstring exercises. Holy crap. I deserve to hurt, if I've let things go that badly. Only did a quarter-mile, because I think a half-mile might have killed me.
