random assortment of thoughts...
~Maya Angelou was amazing! It was the first time I had ever been to a performance where the the speaker or singer was given a standing ovation when they walked on stage.
~I got a major kid fix on Saturday- I watched my friends' 5 month old, 2 year old, and 10 year old all day. It was a rough morning because the baby was sick...I definitely don't want that many kids at once. The 2 year old wrapped around my foot when I was leaving and said- I love you Jamie, so cute!
~Yesterday was fun with dye, I dyed the bag that I just knitted and a few other items...it is very strange because all with the same dye, 1 thing turned out maroon, another lilac, and another magenta...it was a very interesting experience.
~If you say to Sedona "Want to go ba-byes in the car?" or "want to go for a ride?" you won't get much of a reaction but if I say "coffee!" to Amber she she gets all excited because it means we are going for a ride.
~Amber and I just joined a queer book club, I am excited! We are reading In the Garden of Good and Evil.
~Top Chef starts in 8 days!!
