(no subject)
I am very much looking forward to this weekend...work could not be going any slower. It was a long week this week. One of the individuals in my agency commit suicide earlier this week. I was not very close with him, but one of the individuals in my program is really struggling with his death. It was also very upsetting to hear that his family wanted nothing to do with him, they are not even going to arrange any kind of services. It is sad that staff members are at times the only 'family' that these people have. I guess I should feel good about what I do, but for now I am just irked by ignorance.
I have a packed weekend ahead of me....after work I am going pick up Cole (can I just say that joint puppy custody sucks, it means that I need to see my ex more than I would like at times) and then I am heading over to Cathy and Jess' for some drinks. Tomorrow is the part in Boston. Definately looking forward to that, should be a good time. Sunday is goign to be out of control busy, I am working 9am-11pm. Ok, back to work.
