can you keep up

hooray, i'm home. actually make that a double hooray. too much car time makes me woozy. but pam was there through it all. she watched as my family and i minus joe argued, missed directions, walked in and out of restaurants, and milled about haphazardly looking like "country bumpkins" as my frustrated father said. yeah... about my dad.... there are just some things i don't think i'll ever understand about him and it makes me angry. i haven't learned to really deal with him yet.

but now i just get off the phone with his brother, and he tells me that when you're younger, you look at all the faults of your family - but later on you'll see all the good. i'll be waiting.

so back to the colleges. thursday we went to lehigh, my top choice so far, to look around some more and have my interview.... also unexpectedly got a chance to talk to the director of the dental program... i was nervous, and made an ass out of myself. later on, saw some kids who were also going to INFORMALLY interview, and they were in their skirts and blazers and shit, and here i am in a polo, jeans, and flip flops. CRAP. so what do we do an hour before my appointment? run to NEW JERSEY to get me some nicer clothes. yeah. otherwise, oh, it went well.

come home that night, pam sleeps over again, next morning it's off to CT. get to quinnipiac around 10 in time for the tour... i felt like i was in some kind of fairyland, they played the chimes nonfreakinstop. but it was a nice place, like a smaller nicer UCONN. then off to trinity college, which was really nice, just don't go off campus. because you might get robbed. the school had some nice traditions, good food, it's a good school, and was a really nice campus. i might apply there. however that's where i got into the fight with my dad, and he still won't talk to me - over water bottles. god forbid.

got home around 7 30, but the entire ride home pam had to pee so bad... but it was priceless to watch her face when my dad did 75 over the bumps in the road. 143 pam.

so that was my past 2 days. tomorrow we're celebrating joe's 16th bday. come over and party y'all.

later taters.
