So spleeeeepy...
If I thought I knew tired before...I was dead wrong.
WELL, we are officially in the new house (yay!), but there was all the packing & moving, and we still have some stuff to move over!! Then, there was the getting the house & stuff ready for the kids' double birthday bash. Then, there was HOLDING the birthday party! And, THEN I started the dental assistant job yesterday.
I'm POOPED!!!
The house looks good, though, for the most part, and my parents returned to Indiana, so we can get stuff even more settled (not that I won't miss them).
The birthday party for the kids went GREAT! I was a bit nervous, okay...WAY STRESSED beforehand, and then we had guests pop in super early on us, so that threw me a little bit, but then things went off pretty much without a hitch! It was great to see some of you (you know who you are), and kids :)
As for the dental assistant job...I started yesterday. OUCH! Muscles I didn't even know I had hurt! I had to work earlier than any job I've ever worked before, and there were several staff members missing, so it was even crazier, and I started off the morning as the ONLY dental assistant, until Bre came in, finally. I was freaking out! I was racing all over the place, and just learning as I went. There are SO many tools & so many procedures & so many particular ways to do things. And, Bre...well, she had a strong personality, let's say. It's not that I don't like her, because honestly she was trying to help me, but you know...you're under stress & someone's constantly popping in telling you what you need to do differently. Like I said, she was trying to help, but I was so high-stress, I felt like telling her to back off in a loud tone. It's all for good reason, though...she's actually quite nice, just a strong personality. OH - and I didn't get lunch until 3 hours after I was supposed to, then I had to duck out early (there was a miscommunication about hours) to pick up the kids from the daycare they started yesterday. STRESSED? ME? NEEEEVVVEEER!!
So, that's my update...and, now I must go place my daughter back in her room, as she has busted out!
