An update to my job situation:
1. Last week, I received an offer from TPS. It was for less than I had hoped for, but still accepted of course. However, in order for me to work this job, I'm going to have to move to Tulsa. In order to live in Tulsa with a job like this, I'm going to have to work a 2nd evening job.
2. The high paying job just offered me the position tonight... and it's in the evening!!!!! Wow, what a way life works out!! BUT... (isn't there always a catch?) I don't know if the training class is during the day or evening. If it's in the evening, that's going to work out wonderfully! But if it's during the day, that might conflict with the TPS job, which starts on Tuesday the 5th. It has to start on that day, because their regulations require that a committee approve me, and they meet on Monday the 4th.
Here's hoping it all works out. If it does, I won't have to necessarily worry about the permanence of this higher paying gig, as I have TPS to fall back on. If it doesn't work out, then I have to choose. Oy!!
