♠ 100 → The SHINee experience.
NOVEMBER 26, 2009 - Probably the best day of my life so far.
As some of you probably know, SHINee came to the Philippines last week to perform in a mini-concert for the Korean Cultural Festival held in our country. And I was one of the very lucky people who got to see them-even for just a bit-up close.
Thursday night was bound to be a busy night for me. I had to prepare for our batch camping the next day, review for the 5 quizzes we will have tomorrow, and do our Health homework. But I didn't know that all those could slip out of my mind until I saw an announcement. I felt so many emotions run through me as I was reading that: shock, excitement, worry, disbelief, and a lot more. I thought all my hopes have already been crushed by our batch camping (which was so conveniently scheduled on the concert day itself, and it's fucking graded so I can't really escape) and not winning a ticket to the concert in the raffle done by Arirang (fuck them, srsly). /still bitter
After reading that, my only thought was "AIRPORT. MUST. GO. NOW." So I immediately called my mother in her office and screamed MOM! SHINEE! AIRPORT! 10:50PM! GO HOME NOW OMGGGGG and after that, I called Rissa (rissa_chan18) to tell her the greatest news on the planet and RISSA OMG YOU HAVE TO COME WITH ME DAMN IT, but her parents didn't allow her, and my heart sank all the way down to depression once more. After some more Rissa~ you should've begged, cried, screamed, anything ;___;, I've decided to hung up and just get ready when my mom arrives.
I took a bath, wore my SHINee shirt, skinny jeans, and rubber shoes. After that, I made two fansigns, one with '샤이니 사랑해요! ♥' (SHINee, I love you!) and another with '태민 아, 곧 나을 거야! ♥' (Taemin, get well soon!) which were so plain and uncreatively done, rofl. |D I was talking to Chelsea (who doesn't have an LJ, boo) and hyung (yoosshi) in ym while making the fansigns and I kept on telling them to OMG COME WITH MEEEEEE but Wookie (Chelsea) lives quite far away from me and her parents wouldn't allow her, while hyung's parents are not at home and she can't contact them. :\ Oh life, seriously now.
A little bit later (like around 8:15PM), my mom finally arrived and I was all "MA COME ON LET'S GOOO NOWWWWW" and then the unexpected happened. My mom suddenly said "Are you serious about going there? Don't you think it's pointless? There will be a lot of people there so there's a slim chance that you'll see them, and besides it's quite far and we might get stuck in traffic" and so much more, which totally reduced me to a lot of tears and screams and thrashing around and much more tears. I'm so thankful to hyung (yoosshi ) for listening to my angry rants while my mom was happily eating her dinner without a care in the world, her daughter's only hope gets taken away just like that.
I thought that was it, I'm sorry SHINee, but then my mom (thankfully) took pity on her poor daughter, saying "What are you crying there for? Let's go to the airport now" and I cried even more because THERE'S STILL HOPE FOR ME, THANK YOU LORD! I immediately got my fansigns, telling our maid to come with us 'cause she'll be holding my fansigns while I stare at the boys and take pictures. /bricked
While going to the airport, I couldn't even speak or play kpop songs in the radio. I was too nervous and worried, just staring out of the window and imagining all sorts of scenarios in my head. I fell asleep for a while (crying for 30 minutes is quite tiring and my eyes are so red and puffy and just UGH TIREDDDDD already) and when I woke up, we were already in the airport, but the wrong terminal. We ended up in Terminal 2 (it should be 1), and Terminal 1 is oh so far away, srsly. :\ It was already 10:30 when we got to NAIA Terminal 1 alsfjsdlfjkdfjk I really thought I'd be too late already 'cause we heard the announcement that the flight from Seoul has landed already while we were entering the parking lot. DDDDD;
A number of fans were already waiting (like duh, of course) by the time we got there, but I still managed to get in front of the crowd, HEHEHE. 8D I heard some fans screaming "샤이니, 빨리빨리!" (SHINee! Hurry hurry!) and the one beside me shouted "IPAKITA NIYO NA MGA ASAWA NAMIN!" (Show us our husbands already!) HAHAHA. I laughed so much at that. XD; After a few minutes, an Arirang camera man started to video the fans waiting and you know how I'm ON THE FUCKING FRONT, so when he focused the cam on me, I was all "....*waves* *peace sign* :D;;" I LOOKED STUPID, YO. D; I hope they don't include it during editing, but I hope the part where my fansign was filmed will be. *___* ♥♥♥
Then there was a sudden stampede of sorts wherein fans that were held back rushed to the area where the boys will be directly coming from (lol, I couldn't explain it better, but only the core members of the fanclub were allowed there) and my mom was like "GO! GO!" so I just...ran with them, rofl. So sorry to the guards. XD; When Mr. Park saw the commotion, he told the fans to go back or else they'll be kicked out of the airport...or something like that. Even if they were sad, the fans went back, but my mom is like freaking ninja and stalking expert and was all "Come here, stay close to me to hide your shirt (it has SHINee on it, yo XD;). Let's make it seem like we're actually waiting for a relative here." And her plan worked, we weren't told to go back. \o/ ILU mom, for srs. XD; ♥ She even asked someone from the core team why are there so many people? who's coming? to top it all off. XD; MOTHER YOU SO GENIUS. 8D;
Suddenly, there were 3 Korean girls who arrived and talked to Mr. Park and kept on pointing back up (where the passengers will be coming from) and Mr. Park nods or sth and tells the camera man to prepare and stuff and I was all OMG THEY'RE SHINEE'S STYLIST NOONAS AND FUCK, ARE THOSE SHINEE'S BAGS? *O* I just kept on staring at the bags in the trolley they were pushing for a while. I was tempted to take pictures, but they already went to the bus. :\
And after a few moments, THEY FINALLY CAME. *__* First I saw were the bodyguards surrounding the boys. LIKE FUCK, THEY'RE SO TALL AND THERE'S PROBABLY LIKE 10 OF THEM OR STH. D: Then I saw Minho and just...I felt my heart stop for a second 'cause FUCK, THIS MAN IS JUST...*A* Then there's Jong behind him with his gorgeous hair and smile asdjskldfjkf, but I can't see him that much (y-you know why...XD /bricked), and then there's Onew who KEEPS ON FUCKING GRINNING AND JUST AAAAAA I WAS DYING, YO. ;___; Key was the last behind, looking so fierce and beautiful and just afjsldfjdsfkdfk THESE BOYS LOOK LIKED GODS THAT CAME STRAIGHT DOWN FROM HEAVEN, SRSLY. ;_______; ♥♥♥ SO SO GORGEOUS, I FELT LIKE CRYING GAAAAAH. I realized that I have my camera at my hands and FUCK, TAKE PICTURES ALREADY! on my head and so I started clicking, but my camera is complete failure GRAAAAAH. *CHUCKS IT SOMEWHERE*
When they walked past by where I was standing, all hell broke loose. Only screams were heard everywhere and all I can say was SHINEE OPPAAAA! ONEW OPPA! ONEW OPPAAAAAA! ;A; 'cause he was the nearest to me at that time but FUCK THE GUARDS, UGH. My throat was already getting sore from all my ONEW OPPA! screams, and then they were moving and I ran with everybody towards them and I wanted to fucking shoot the guard in front 'cause you're blocking the people I want the most right now!!! D< but all I can do was to run fast, scream KEY OPPA! KEY OPPA! KEY OPPAAAAAA! ('cause he was at the back and he was nearest to me) while trying to take pictures. I'm pretty sure I looked stupid, but lol, I couldn't really care. D;
And so they reached their bus and I could feel myself tearing up already 'cause FUCK THIS IS IT THIS IS THE END FOR ME and fans kept on tapping on the bus, we even sang Replay loudly (my voice was already hoarse but I still screamed to the best of my ability), I'm sure the people at the airport that time were already all "WTF ARE THEY DOING O___O" while looking at us. They closed the curtains, but then someone from the bus (idk who) suddenly showed their hand and pressed it to the window and everyone SCREAMED and this one fan kept on jumping to be able to high-five the hand even with the window in between them. XD; I wanted to do anything to not make them go just yet, but alas, there went my shining boys. ;___; I even got a picture of the bus' plate number before they truly left, ROFL.
I ran back to my mom who was waiting somewhere back, and kept on jumping and screaming and FUCK GRAMMAR, SERIOUSLY. \o/ I had a dreamy look on my face as we were heading back to our car and I told my mom, "I'm not just in Cloud 9, this must be Cloud 1,000,000 or so already *___*" Lol I know it sounds stupid, but who can make sense at that time, anyway? Our maid and I kept on fangirling and gushing about how FUCK THEY'RE SOOOO HANDSOME AAAAA!! and so much more sfkdkfljdskfjsd.
At the car ride going home, I happily played SHINee songs on the car radio and even sang along to them loudly (my singing voice unbelievable sounded better than usual even if my throat was tired from the screaming, rofl) as I stared out of the window grinning like a fool. I'm sure those who saw my face from outside got scared, rofl. XD;
Even when we were home already, I still couldn't fucking shut up about it. 8DDD I haven't prepared for our camping the next day, wasn't able to review for the 5 quizzes we'll be having the next day, and haven't done any homework at all. But I really couldn't care less, 'cause I just had my dream come true. ♥
Guys, I really wanted to cut the story short but adkjsfdlksjdflk FUCK I JUST CAN'T, I WANT TO REMEMBER EVERYTHING. D;
Until now, it still feels so surreal to me. To see my most favorite boy group in person that close-never had I felt so much joy, I swear, even if I wasn't able to see my husband (my mother calls Taem her son-in-law, okay ♥). I didn't even hear them sing or say anything at all, but just seeing them brings a huge amount of happiness to me. *___* ♥ But now that I have seen them, I want so much more. :(((( All I can say today to my mom is "LET'S GO TO KOREA NOWWWWW" and "THE ONLY PLACE I WANT TO BE IN RIGHT NOW IS KOREA" and more "MOTHER BRING ME TO KOREA OMG PLEASE HUHUHUUUUU" I look so pathetic, but I couldn't help it. ;~;
