Grad schools applications: 1 for 2
I didn't get into UT-Austin's master's of accounting program. Which I think I'm OK with. Sure, I reflexively gave my computer the finger when I found out. But on the other hand, it's kind of nice to have my options narrowed down.
Is that so strange?
One more application is still circulating in cyberspace: the one for Wash U's master's in accounting. Actually, I had a phone interview with them yesterday, and I think it went well. If I get in there, I'll have another tough decision. If I know myself, I'll struggle to make it. U. of Michigan or Illinois? Tracy, Calif., or Wausau, Wis.? A pattern exists.
I do hope I get into Wash U. I'd like to visit in a few weeks, see the campus firsthand, get a better taste of it. But if I don't get in, I'll be fine.
