(no subject)
Hello! Not much to update about right now. This coming week is the last week of Earth Science. I got the highest grade again on our last test.. yessss.. hehe :) I don't want to sound like I'm bragging, but I am proud of myself. It's a lottttt of information to learn in a really short period of time.
The final for the class is supposed to be on Monday, but I asked Dr. Snyder if I could take it early - on Friday morning, because that afternoon I'm leaving for my work trip to Bike Virginia (third year in a row). I'll be back from that on Wednesday, and then on Thursday and Friday I'll be spending time with my family for the tail-end of River Week.
I just registered yesterday for the Praxis II exam on July 25th, which is my teacher-certification exam. It was $220 for two tests. One is "Principles of Learning and Teaching, K-6" and the other is "Elementary Education, Curriculum, Instruction, & Assessment" I decided to take it a little early, just in case I fail (worst case scenario). I doubt that will happen, though I have heard of people taking it 5 times. It's mostly case studies through essay-writing which is my forte, so I'm sure I'll be ok. I'm taking it at HCC, because that was the closest location offered. I am soooo hoping that I pass, because then I will technically be a certified teacher prior to graduation (which would be pretty awesome)! I have a study book which I'm going to dive into majorly once I get back from Bike VA.
