Have settled into new accomodation. All are invited, just give notice before tapkofying.
The monsoon is gone, hahaha. It's 2006, and yet our MET dept can't tell the difference between a storm and a season. It was an awesome storm, but it's NOT THE MONSOON!
Today my little bro's results come out. Hope he's done well. I have to do all the paperwork though, AARGH!
Dad's gone off to Canada.
Movie reviews: (well hardly reviews, just comments)
1. Da Vinci Code: Dunno what all the fuss and bad reviews are about. The movie is about as good as it can be. If people are complaining that they know the story and it's predictable, well, DUH! That being said, Tom Hanks is not good at all. I mean he's good at being Tom Hanks, but he's nothing like the character in the book. He's not cool. He's old! On the other hand Audrey Tatou is very good. She fits the bill and she's cute! Go for the movie if you've read the books. It's not too bad. If you haven't read the book, you'll think the movie's good!
2. Duck Soup (1933, Marx Brothers movie): Absolutely ridiculous. Very funny. Very dumb at times. But heck, worth a watch. Worth 2 watches. Infact, worth a watch with a crowd, will cause lots of laughs. Some random songs in the middle sort of mess things up, but Groucho, Chico and Harpo are too good. Quote: "I have half a mind to join a club and beat you on the head with it!" Heheheh. Available for viewing at my new abode.
