Review in Gothtronic of DOS.
For those with a VampireFreaks-account this is old news, but Uberbyte has a new CD! And yes, the marketing-tredmill is turning at full speed and they are using every possible method to let you know!
Uberbyte hops on the train of the TBM-hype and do not miss goal. The sound is good and the vocals sound very fresh… Only: the mixing could have been a bit less loud… A disease a lot of bands are bitten by: the battle of loudness begins at the studio (but please, let it not spoil the quality!).
But still, we have to say that this disc called [DOS] has quite some potential for the specialised clubs. My personal favorites are definitely “Say what??”, with a sublime Pulp Fiction-sample… (well, allow me to retort!), Dissect (nice and frivol tune), Industrial bitch (she likes it loud and fast and deep…) and closer “Ich will tanzen’, which I feel is more like an opening track! Uberbyte has surely done it’s best and we expect hopefully a visit to Belgium and/or The Netherlands to proof that they can maintain this level on stage!
