Windows 10 is Malware!

Aug 12, 2015 17:43

I tried to post the following to C/Net's glowing review of Windows 10:

I upgraded from Windows 7 and soon came to regret it. I tried to revert back and got an error message informing me that Windows couldn't find the back up it supposedly created before installing the new OS. I have a 2011 laptop, and there is absolutely no reason why I'd want all the Windows 10 gobbledygook cluttering up my screen. This new OS gives me nothing I wanted or needed, and I wish to high heaven that I had ignored the persistent invitations to "upgrade."

Worst of all, Windows 10 took away some functionality that I used on a daily basis. Specifically, the ability to right-click on a file and select "move to" or "copy to." Now I have to open a destination window and drag and drop the file to the desired location. WTF?

I guess that's not the absolute worst thing about Windows 10. The worst thing is that the Start button stops working and forces me to reboot a couple of times a day. This "upgrade" has cost me many hours of lost productivity and caused enormous aggravation. I cannot, for the life me, understand how anyone could consider this an improvement. Your smiley face reviews are luring people into needless misery.
