San Francisco Story Time!
Ok so on tuesday Kim, Brettlee and I went on a little roadtrip to San Francisco! OH EM GEE did we have fun! Oh man i have never laughed so hard in my life! Ok so the story begins @ my house when Kim calls my cell phone at 7 am(thinking i would be awake!) to tell me just how excited she was about going! I didnt know my phone even rang because i was asleep so my mom answered. She then called me again at like 8:15 to tell me how excited she was again! Yet this time i was in the shower!!! So i called her back when i got out. Brett showed up like 30 minutes early because Kim told him to be at my house ASAP! So i was running around throwing clothes on since i had just gotten out of the shower! Well anyways Kim finally got to my house and we took a PRE-San Francisco picture!! Ha so funny! We then piled into Brett's car and left! We sang the whole way there!!! Twas great! About a hour into the car ride Brett had to go to the bathroom! So we told him to wait til we got to San Francisco. Well we ended up running around by the time we got to SF because by that time we all had to go to the bathroom!!! So we went to Carl's Jr's and went...YUK!!! We left there to look for the theater..and went the wrong direction! So we walked what seemed like 100 blocks before realizing that we were going the wrong way! So we turned around and walked back the 100 blocks! It ended up that the theater was literally right around the corner from where we were parked! LOSERS that we were never realized it! Oh well! So we then proceeded to go back to the car for the maps(incase we got lost again!) While leaving the parking garage i fell!! Yes i had a klutz of a moment and fell in yukiness!!! So gross! So by then we were hungry! So we decided to try to find a place to eat. Luckily by then Josh had called me back and he helped me lead the clan to Lori's Diner! All i have to say about that place is that i hate censored paper towel dispensers!! DIE! So we ate and then decided to try to find Chinatown. HA! We ended up taking the BART system..aka the subway of SF! We went the wrong way the first time! Not knowing where to go! Luckily some girl was nice enough to tell us how to get to Chinatown. Well we got off where she told us too and ended up being where we already were! Oh well! Eventually we found Chinatown! And we walked through it FAST! Thats because i walk fast!!! And i am sore because of it! Darn you short legs and not walking at a normal speed! So we went and took the BART again! Might i just make a note that those things are FAST! I thought i was going to fall down when we were standing up! God! So we got off and decided to relax for a little while before we changed for the show. So we went and sat in the park by the pretty buildings! We took pictures of each other...and Kim proceeded to leave her cell phone there and didnt realize it til later! UH OH! So we then went to change! We took turns changing in the car! Twas interesting but a barrel of laughs! We then went back to the park again to take more pictures! We took modeling ones this time though! CHIPMUNK!!!!! It was sooo funny. I was freezing though! Oh and the wind kept blowing my dress up...not even funny KIM! But hey whatever i really could care less!!! So we then went and sat in Carl's Jr. The Security gaurd made us buy food in order to stay in there so i did! I didnt want to..i wasnt even hungry but whatever! We then went to the theater and were highly ammused by the homeless man playing the violin that was making absolutely NO music whatsoever but he danced to the "music" that he heard!! Oh man i was dying!! Then we went and waited to be let into the theater. SO COLD might i add again! We finally were let in. The theater was so pretty. GAH! Oh and the set was really cool...sort of confusing at times but cool! I ♥ the show SO much!! Oh man! But i have to say i was throughly disappointed with Fiyero and how he sang. I didnt like Dancing Through Life at all. Gah it killed me! But i love Elphaba, Glinda and Nessarose. Ha Libby from Sabrina the Teenage Witch! Oh and i loved all of the punch lines from the Wizard of Oz that were in the show. It was great. Oh and the funny thing is that our Glinda was a understudy and we liked her more that Kristin Chenowith(sp?). I mean Kristin was good..but vocally we liked how this girl sang better. Oh and the Elphaba was AMAZING! So good. GOD i love this show SO much! Well we decided to take as many programs as possible so we left with 12! We then went to the car and changed again but this time we didnt take turns we just changed! We really didnt care! What can you say we do theater!! So we tried to leave SF but got lost again! This time we took the wrong highway because of the stupid gas station guy!! JERK! So we got on the wrong highway and i called my mom and we turned around. We then decided we were hungry again! So we drove around some city looking for Denny's! Um there wasnt one at all! So we went to look for the freeway and found this VERY steep hill that we had to go on. Um lets just say we were all screaming!! Oh good times! Then we found a Denny's in Fairfield! And we ate there. Kim searched the car with the hope that her cell phone was somewhere in it..but it wasnt. So we ate at Denny's and then left. Brett and I slept the rest of the way home. So funny!! And then Kim woke us up because she yelled to figure out how to get back to my house. So we then woke up and stayed awake! GAH! Then we came home and i told my madre everything. The story isnt that funny! But in real life it was sooooooo funny! People running into us with there bags. Oh and Brett staring at the freaky people! And me falling! Oh and those darn escalators! I hate them...i really do!!! San Francisco will never be the same now!!!
