Boy, oh boy, I could fill up the entire website with the answer to this one. However, I'll just leave a resounding YES! I know I have said some things that should have remained inside my head, and not brought to my lips..that's for sure. I use to have a really hard time apologizing to someone, cause it's well, just not easy. Now, I still do it. I think we all make this mistake in anger. However, I do believe that it is sometimes healthy to say what's on your mind, as long as it's not to the detriment of someone else. It's not healthy to keep things bottle up inside, so we all need some sort of outlet. Having said that, I think that the freedom of speech that we are all granted can, and does get taken out of line. My dad always told me that silence is golden, per the Bible, and I have always struggled with it. I am one of those people who will stick up for what I believe is right, have a STRONG sense of justice, and can't seem to always keep it zipped. I do try, and I do succeed sometimes. I have had a stronger relationship result from setting boundaries in relationships which require that I do that. In my line of work, that is particularly hard at times.
I have had a stronger, more withstanding relationship after saying something I later regretted. For that, I am extremely thankful. So, sometimes I guess it's not so bad to speak your mind.
