Otter reads the opening to "Summerhill"!
So, after months and months (and months) of teasing, I finally have something to show for "Summerhill" itself.
I recorded a reading of an in-progress version of the opening chapter, which you can find here. I really want to stress the "in-progress" part of that; the actual novel won't be out for some time, and after hearing myself read this, I definitely want to change a lot.
Still, I think this is a pretty good first look at Summerhill, his rather unique situation, and the story that is about to unfold from here. I hope that it grabs people's attentions and makes them want to know more.
