My First First Draft
This afternoon (just a few minutes ago, in fact), I finished my first draft of my novel, Summerhill.
It's definitely only a first draft, and a pretty rough one, at that. It needs work. It needs a lot of work.
There are large chunks of it I'm not happy with. There are character arcs and entire sections I'll probably need to tear out and redo from scratch.
But that can wait. I've got my first rough draft done, and that's something.
Tonight, there will be sushi and sake.
