I know I'm kind of late to the party in getting an announcement out there (and many of you guys have probably voted already), but the 2008 Ursa Major Awards are holding voting now through April 19th

"Candy and Music" is a great story, and I'm one of those who helped nominate it. I suspect that Black Teagan's fine illustrations (it was she, wasn't it?) helped to draw attention to it, but the story is genuine, sweet, and believable. Personally, I felt the sex was kind of superfluous, but that's so typical of furry lit that it's not much of a criticism. The writing is light hearted and fun, with a spark of romance that can't help but demand notice. (And I don't even like those dances at cons, but you still grabbed my attention with this one.) Congratulations and good luck in the final voting. ;)

Hey, it's been a real while since we've last heard about you! I hope your doing alright and still writing loads of lovely stories ^^.

I'm looking forward to read more of your stories during the summer break (which begins in less that 2 weeks... oh god, so near and so far all at once!)
