...was quite good.
Dennis was thoroughly enjoyable as both Mr. Darling and Captain Hook. Both characters were believable as adults. Maya did really well, too, and it was really fun to watch her fly. Aubrey was good as Peter Pan, and she remarked afterwards that her cap hated her (it made a bid for freedom at least a couple of times during the production, hehe).
I'm glad that I get to see it again on Saturday, although I would like to see Nick as Captain Hook. (Not to mention Dennis as the crocodile... that would be extremely fun.)
Afterwards, I chatted with Nathaniel and Lydia, Hannah, Aubrey, Dennis/Nick (they'll soon become one entity, I suspect: Dennick.), Carla (one of Mom's friends, grandmother of Taylor; she's really really nice) and prolly some other people I don't remember. Nathaniel and Lydia moved into their new house on DUNN ST yesterday, which is pretty cool. And here's the highlight of the afterwards-ness: Dennis and Nathaniel actually had a civilized conversation, which is very happy. Previous interactions have ended up in red negative signs above their heads.
I walked to Yarns Unlimited and found the book that Mom was thinking about getting. It was my parents' 20th aniversary today (my Mom's half-birthday) and so Dad gave it to her as a present.
Boring. Boring. Boring. Boring.
Is it just me, or do all my posts end up that way?
(Oh, is anyone from Macbeth going to Saturday night's performance?? I really want to wear my costume, but don't want to be the only one...)
And I most likely should be in bed by now, as Hannah is coming over to my house at 9:00 tomorrow morning, and it is now 1:46 AM. I make the best decisions ever, don't you think?
