1. SLIM CHANCE AWARDS (the 20th annual!)

- SPOTLIGHT the widespread fraud and quackery in the weight loss field.

- CATEGORIES: Most Outrageous Claim, Worst Claim, Worst Product and Worst
Gadget.

- ANNOUNCED Dec 27; also featured on "Rid the World of Fad Diets and
Gimmicks Day," Jan 20.

2. HEALTHY WEIGHT AWARDS (16th annual)

- HONOR BUSINESSES and media that portray respect for size diversity,
especially for women.

- CATEGORIES: Best Advertisement, TV show or network, Magazine, Catalog and
other.

- ANNOUNCED Jan. 22 on Women's Healthy Weight Day, a day to honor size
diversity and reject stereotyping of women.

Nominations due Nov. 15. Please send support materials or online link, if
possible.
