--worked as a substitute teacher for a semester

--have teenage nephews
So I am familiar with the constant barrage of "fag" and "that's so gay" that pervades teenage culture. When I was working as a sub at a high school, I confronted this whenever I could. For most of the kids, it really was a matter of education and bringing to consciousness.
